The Confederation Bridge connects Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. It is the longest bridge in the world that spans ice-covered waters, with a total length of 12.9 km and a speed limit of 80 km/h. The bridge was completed and opened to traffic on May 31, 1997, making transportation to Prince Edward Island more convenient, boosting economic development, and generating more revenue from tourism and agricultural products.

Marine Rail Park

Marine Rail Park located at the foot of the Confederation Bridge, was created to commemorate the train station and ferry that existed here before the bridge was built. The small park features a white lighthouse adorned with a red heart representing Prince Edward Island. It is the best spot for capturing photos of the Confederation Bridge and is also a popular location for social media influencers.
