It combines local PEI handicrafts and red clay printing and dyeing craft shops. There is also a seating area on the second floor. At the main entrance, there is a visitor information centre where you can obtain travel information brochures such as maps. Emerald Isle carriage tours starts just outside the main entrance of the food court.

Every summer, cruises from different countries and regions berth at the port. The first stop for tourists after leaving the cruise is the Founders’Food Hall. Then, starting from the food court and strolling through the beautiful downtown Charlottetown, visitors bring more vigor and vitality to this quiet little town. Every winter, a free ice rink is open outside for children to play.

As a centre of culture and activity for locals and tourists, Founders’ Food Hall is the perfect place to gather friends, reunite with families, get involved in community events and shop for local souvenirs.
