Day I: PEI - Cape Breton (Ferry + Self-driving)

Drive to Wood Islands Ferry Terminal to take the ferry and take a sea trip of about 75 minutes to Caribou Ferry Terminal. It takes about 3 hours and 37 minutes to drive to the hotel. Along the way, you can admire the magnificent Northumberland Strait.

Day II (Self-driving):

Cape Breton Island: The self-driving Cabot Trail is the most beautiful road in the world, with a total length of 300 kilometers. Varied coastlines, tranquil pastures, sweeping highlands and towering cliffs, with multiple viewing platforms along the way.

Cape Breton Highlands National Park (tickets available at Visit Center, Parks Canada Discovery Pass) has 26 trails, of which the Skyline Trail is the most famous, with National Geographic and Traveler magazines in United States ranking it the world's most beautiful skyline trail. At the top of the plateau at an altitude of more than 400 meters, this hike is 6.5 km round trip, 8 km if you take the loop, and at the end of the trail is a boardwalk, where you can enjoy the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of the St. Lawrence in the North Atlantic.

In the afternoon, you can visit Gypsum Mine Lake on the edge of Cheticamp town, the parking lot walks to the lake for less than 3 kilometers, there is a path by the lake to climb to the mountain to take a panoramic view of the lake, but the road is very steep, you need to rely on ropes up and down, you can do what you can, and return to the hotel in the evening.

Day II (Ferry + Self-driving): Cape Breton Island - PEI (Car + Ferry)

In the morning, visit Mary Ann Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls, which is directly accessible by car from the hotel. In the afternoon, drive to the ferry port and take the ferry back to PEI.
